I came home from work really excited on my first day at a new job and kicked my shoes off at the front door. Wilbur our 5 month old puppy (he's a rescue we believe to be half Jack Russell and half Shih Tzu) followed me into the kitchen where my husband was waiting to talk to me and hear about my day. I gave Wilbur a quick pet and hello, but he seemed to be frustrated that I didn't give him more attention, so he started nipping at my pant leg. I told him "down" and he ran out of the room to his kennel. Or so I thought. My husband called me into the room a few minutes later and this is what I saw. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!

Oakie decided his bed was more fun to eat than to sleep on, so he took a bite out of it. A big bite. Strange thing is, the bed cover only had a small hole in the corner from the chomping. My dog is destructive AND amazing!

I went out and left my dog Max free to roam about. Apparently he wanted in to me bedroom so bad he destroyed a $500 door! UGH

My dog is a chewer. As a result we usually don't leave him alone with his bed. Unfortunately we forgot to move it and we came home to this! It looks like a foam party in Ibiza! UGH
